Coffee Toffee Bars

Almond Glaze

Combine butter, powdered sugar, and almond extract. Add milk until of spreading consistency.

  1. Cream butter and brown sugar.
  2. Blend in almond extract, instant coffee, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add flour to form a stiff dough.
  4. Stir in chocolate and almonds.
  5. Press into well-greased jelly roll pan.
  6. Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes. Frost while warm.
