Molasses Candy Crisps
makes 3 to 4 dozen cookies
- 1 cup butter
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup light molasses
- 2 cups sifted AP flour
- 1 cup nuts, chopped or flaked coconut
- Cream butter with salt and cinnamon. Add sugar, creaming well.
- Blend in molasses, then sifted flour.
- Stir in nuts and/or coconut, if desired
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 375°for 8 to 12 minutes until edges are lightly browned. Cool 1 minute, remove from sheets.
