Molasses Candy Crisps

makes 3 to 4 dozen cookies

  1. Cream butter with salt and cinnamon. Add sugar, creaming well.
  2. Blend in molasses, then sifted flour.
  3. Stir in nuts and/or coconut, if desired
  4. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
  5. Bake at 375°for 8 to 12 minutes until edges are lightly browned. Cool 1 minute, remove from sheets.
