Oatmeal Raisin Rounds
makes 5 dozen
- 2½ cups sifted AP flour
- 1 tsp soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups quick cooking rolled oats, ground
- 1½ cups raisins, ground
- ½ cup nuts, chopped
- Sift together flour, soda, and salt.
- Cream butter. Gradually add sugar, creaming well.
- Add eggs, beat well. Blend in the dry ingredients.
- Stir in rolled oats, raisins, and nuts.
- Shape by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, flatten slightly with bottom of glass dipped in flour.
- Bake at 375°for 12 to 15 minutes until light golden brown.
