Oatmeal Raisin Rounds

makes 5 dozen

  1. Sift together flour, soda, and salt.
  2. Cream butter. Gradually add sugar, creaming well.
  3. Add eggs, beat well. Blend in the dry ingredients.
  4. Stir in rolled oats, raisins, and nuts.
  5. Shape by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, flatten slightly with bottom of glass dipped in flour.
  6. Bake at 375°for 12 to 15 minutes until light golden brown.
