Scotch Short Bread

  1. Cream thoroughly first two ingredients.
  2. Add flour and salt.
  3. Knead dough as you would bread (20 min)
  4. Smooth in a 7½" x 11" x ¾" pan with the back of a spoon
  5. Prick with a fork and cut into pieces
  6. Bake at 300° for 45 minutes.
