Walnut Rum Balls (or Bourbon or Brandy)
makes 3½ dozen balls
- 2½ cups finely crushed vanilla wafer crumbs (1 large 12 oz box)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp cocoa
- 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 3 tbsp light corn syrup
- ¼ cup Rum (or Bourbon or Brandy)
- powdered sugar
- Combine dry ingredients and nuts.
- Mix corn syrup and rum and add to cookie mixture.
- Shape into 1 inch balls, roll in additional powdered sugar.
